Old ID + SKV Paper

New ID Card can be even more convenient to have
Easiest way is to book an appointment and get a brand new account set up.
This will block your card so make sure you have about 2-4 weeks of spending money available elsewhere while waiting for the new BankID Card, Debit Card & PIN Code letter.
Should you have any invoices for the following month, budget these in to how much you set aside. If you're unable to do this, contact the service directly and explain your circumstances for a possible late payment to avoid any reminder or action from Kronofogden.
OBS - Standing Orders/Autogiro will be "deleted" and you will have a new Debit Card and Account Details, update these as soon as possible

You are NOT obligated to disclose why your Personnummer has changed. If asked, direct to the SKV Paper which mentions that the reason is stated as an undisclosed reason. Be prepared to potentially visit a branch multiple times. Report any failure to resolve the matter in a timely manner directly with your branch, it can be sometimes reasonable to request part/all of your annual account fee to compensate for the inconvenience

TIP - Consider getting a Revolut or Wise card for the period you won't have access, it's not tied to your Personnummer and is helpful in the long term for any travel abroad outside Sweden as they provide very good exchange rates for foreign currencies. It also means you've got a backup payment card for now and the future as well as Bank Accounts not only in SEK!

Invoices & Recurring PaymentsVERY HIGHPay off these upcoming costs in
advance wherever possible
For places where it's not possible to pay using an OCR or Autogiro, contact them to see if bills can be settled in
advance or in arrears as a one-off agreement.
This may be one area in which you may require a freind/relative to assist you, keep this in mind when doing
that lump transfer to your secondary Wise/Revolut account as this means you can pay them off without delay!
